Shipping Policy

Order processing, delivery estimates, customs responsibilities, risk of loss, and shipment claims.

Definitions

For purposes of this Policy:

Platform
means reviva.ae, any successor website, Shopify storefront, customer portal, Telegram channel, social media account, email communication, live chat service, mobile application, payment links, quotation acceptance systems, and any other digital service operated by Reviva.
Products
means peptides, compounds, bacteriostatic water, laboratory supplies, research materials, reference standards, and related products sold by Reviva.

1. Order Processing

1.1 Processing Times

Orders are typically processed within one (1) to three (3) business days following receipt of cleared payment and successful completion of any required verification procedures, including age verification, identity verification, fraud screening, and acceptance of Reviva’s Terms of Service, Research Use Disclaimer, Research Use Only Acknowledgement, Age Verification & Eligibility Policy, and any applicable verification requirements.

Processing times are estimates only and may be extended due to:

  • Public holidays
  • Peak order volumes
  • Inventory verification
  • Compliance reviews
  • Regulatory requirements
  • Carrier disruptions
  • Force majeure events

1.2 Business Days

Orders placed on weekends, UAE public holidays, or non-business days will be processed on the next available business day.

1.3 Verification Requirements

Reviva reserves the right to delay, suspend, refuse, or cancel any order pending satisfactory completion of verification procedures.

2. Shipping Methods and Delivery Estimates

2.1 Shipping Partners

Reviva ships throughout the GCC and to select international destinations where permitted by applicable laws, regulations, and carrier policies. Shipping services are provided through reputable domestic and international courier partners selected at Reviva’s sole discretion. Orders may be placed through Reviva’s website, Shopify storefront, Telegram ordering system, customer portal, quotations, invoices, payment links, or other sales channels operated by Reviva.

2.2 Delivery Estimates

The following transit times are provided as general estimates only and are not guaranteed:

  • United Arab Emirates: 1-3 business days
  • GCC Countries: 2-7 business days
  • International Destinations: 7-21 business days

Actual delivery times may vary depending on:

  • Destination country
  • Customs processing
  • Carrier performance
  • Regulatory inspections
  • Weather conditions
  • Local delivery networks
  • Public holidays
  • Force majeure events

Reviva does not guarantee delivery dates and shall not be liable for delays occurring after a shipment has been transferred to the carrier.

2.3 United Arab Emirates Cut-Off and Next-Business-Day Delivery

Orders within the United Arab Emirates that are confirmed and paid before 18:00 (6:00 PM) Gulf Standard Time are generally prepared for dispatch the same business day and, in most serviceable areas, delivered the following business day. Orders confirmed after this cut-off, or on weekends, UAE public holidays, or non-business days, begin processing on the next available business day.

2.4 Temperature-Controlled Handling

For deliveries within the United Arab Emirates, temperature-sensitive items may be dispatched in insulated, cooled (cold-chain) packaging intended to help preserve product integrity during transit. Shipments to other GCC markets and international destinations travel under standard ambient conditions owing to their longer transit windows and are not sent cold-chain. Customers remain responsible for returning items to the recommended storage conditions promptly on arrival, in accordance with each product's handling guidance.

2.5 Tracking Information

Tracking information will be provided once an order has been dispatched.

Tracking updates are supplied by third-party carriers, and Reviva is not responsible for delays, interruptions, inaccuracies, or omissions in carrier tracking systems.

2.6 Split shipments

Reviva reserves the right to fulfill any order using multiple shipments where operationally necessary. Additional shipments shall not increase the customer’s purchase price unless otherwise agreed.

3. Shipping Fees, Duties, and Taxes

3.1 Shipping Charges

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on destination, package weight, dimensions, shipping method, and prevailing carrier rates.

3.2 Import Charges

The customer is solely responsible for:

  • Customs duties
  • Import taxes
  • VAT
  • Brokerage fees
  • Regulatory fees
  • Inspection fees
  • Storage charges
  • Any other charges imposed by governmental authorities or carriers

Reviva has no control over such charges and cannot estimate, guarantee, or reimburse them.

3.3 Unpaid Charges

Failure to pay customs duties, taxes, fees, or other charges may result in shipment delays, refusal, abandonment, return, seizure, confiscation, or destruction by customs authorities.

Reviva shall not be liable for any resulting loss, delay, or expense.

4. Restricted Jurisdictions and Import Compliance

4.1 Customer Responsibility

The customer is solely responsible for determining whether Products may be legally purchased, imported, exported, possessed, stored, researched, or used within the destination jurisdiction.

By placing an order, the customer represents and warrants that they have independently verified the legality of the Products in their jurisdiction.

4.2 No Legal Advice

Reviva does not provide legal advice regarding the legality of Products in any jurisdiction and makes no representation regarding the regulatory status of Products outside the United Arab Emirates.

4.3 Refusal of Shipment

Reviva reserves the right to refuse shipment to any customer, address, destination, jurisdiction, or order at its sole discretion.

4.4 Regulatory Changes

Reviva reserves the right to restrict, suspend, modify, or cancel shipments due to changes in applicable laws, regulations, customs requirements, carrier policies, payment processor requirements, supplier restrictions, or internal compliance procedures.

5. Risk of Loss and Transfer of Title

5.1 Transfer of Risk

Title and risk of loss for all Products pass to the customer immediately upon delivery of the shipment to the carrier at Reviva’s facility in accordance with FCA (Incoterms® 2020).

Customers acknowledge that customs clearance, importation, regulatory approval, and final delivery are outside Reviva’s control once the shipment has been delivered to the carrier.

5.2 Carrier Responsibility

Once a shipment has been accepted by the carrier, responsibility for transportation passes to the carrier and customer.

5.3 Delays After Dispatch

Reviva shall not be liable for delays occurring after shipment has been transferred to the carrier.

6. Incorrect Addresses, Delivery Failures, and Returned Shipments

6.1 Customer Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that all shipping information provided is complete, accurate, and current.

6.2 Incorrect Addresses

Reviva shall not be liable for delays, losses, non-delivery, returns, or additional costs resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or undeliverable shipping information supplied by the customer.

6.3 Returned Shipments

If a shipment is returned due to:

  • Incorrect address information
  • Refused delivery
  • Failure to collect from the carrier
  • Failure to pay customs charges
  • Failed delivery attempts
  • Customer unavailability

the customer shall be responsible for all reshipment costs and associated fees.

6.4 Shipping Fees

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

7. Lost, Stolen, and Damaged Shipments

7.1 Lost Shipments

A shipment shall not be considered lost until the carrier has completed its investigation and formally declared the package lost.

7.2 Stolen Packages

Reviva shall not be liable for packages marked as delivered by the carrier but subsequently reported as lost, stolen, misplaced, or unavailable.

7.3 Damaged Shipments

Claims relating to damaged shipments must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days of delivery and must include clear photographs of the package, shipping label, and affected Products.

7.4 Carrier Investigations

Customers agree to cooperate fully with any carrier investigation relating to lost or damaged shipments.

8. Customs Seizures and Regulatory Actions

8.1 No Guarantee of Customs Clearance

International shipments may be inspected, delayed, detained, returned, confiscated, seized, or destroyed by customs authorities or other regulatory agencies.

Reviva makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that any shipment will successfully clear customs or be permitted entry into any jurisdiction.

8.2 Documentation Requirement

Any request relating to a customs seizure, detention, confiscation, or regulatory action must be accompanied by official documentation issued by the relevant authority.

8.3 Goodwill Reshipment Policy

At its sole and absolute discretion, Reviva may offer a one-time goodwill reshipment or store credit where:

  • Official customs documentation is provided within fourteen (14) days of notification.
  • The issue was not caused by inaccurate information supplied by the customer.
  • The destination was not previously identified as restricted, prohibited, or high-risk.
  • The customer has complied with all applicable requirements.

Any goodwill reshipment, replacement, store credit, refund, discount, or other assistance provided by Reviva shall not create a continuing obligation, precedent, or entitlement for future shipments.

8.4 No Cash Refunds

Cash refunds shall not be issued for customs seizures, import refusals, confiscations, detentions, or regulatory actions.

8.5 Maximum Remedy

Any goodwill reshipment or store credit offered by Reviva shall constitute the customer’s sole and exclusive remedy.

9. Force Majeure

Reviva shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, failures, losses, or non-performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods
  • Fires
  • Severe weather events
  • Pandemics
  • Epidemics
  • Government actions
  • Customs actions
  • Regulatory enforcement
  • Carrier disruptions
  • Supply chain interruptions
  • Labor disputes
  • Cyberattacks
  • Internet outages
  • Utility failures
  • War
  • Terrorism
  • Civil unrest
  • Sanctions
